Classic Lazy Susan

The term "Lazy Susan" is steeped in fascinating history, believed to originate from the 1700s when servants were referred to as “Susans.” Another popular theory suggests that Thomas Jefferson invented it for his daughter, Susan, who often found herself last to be served at the dinner table.

Sustainably Sourced Wood
Sustainably Sourced Wood
We take pride in contributing to environmentally sustainable practices in the woodworking industry. Our wood is sourced from fallen or dead trees on local farms in the Murray River Region in Victoria, Australia.
Repurposing fallen or dead trees from local farms prevents environmental waste and challenges the standard woodworking industry practices of harvesting from healthy forests and deforestation, thereby safeguarding the natural ecosystem.
Furthermore, we use solar energy to operate our workshop.
Care Instructions
Care Instructions
Hand wash your board, soapy water is ok.
Do not put in a dishwasher, as this can cause the board to cup and become warped.
We recommend regularly applying our mineral oil or wood conditioner to your board. The mineral oil and wood conditioner are 100% food-safe, keep your board healthy and hydrated, and help prevent your board from cracking, drying out, or cupping.
