CRAFTING LEGACY: OUR STORY
WE BELIEVE IN...
Environmental Sustainability
We are conscious of our impact on the environment and strive for environmentally sustainable practices in the woodworking industry. We repurpose fallen and dead trees from local farms in the Murray River Region and use solar energy to operate our workshop.
High Quality Products
Every product is diligently handmade with careful craftsmanship. Our products are made with Australian Native woods. They are renowned for their durability and beauty, opposed to low-quality and unsustainably produced imported timber.
Passion for the Craft
We believe that woodworking is more than just a trade — it's an art form that requires patience, creativity, and a deep respect for the materials we use. Every grain, knot, and unique characteristic of the wood tells a story, and it's our honour to bring that story to life in our creations that stand the test of time.

A Letter from the Artist
Welcome to Murray River Woodworks!
I’m Heath, the hands and heart behind each creation. My passion for woodworking began years ago in my father’s workshop. This foundation, combined with over 15 years of sustainably sourcing timber from local farms in Northern Victoria, has shaped our business.
Utilising a Lucas Mill, we reclaim wood from trees that would otherwise be left to rot or be burnt, transforming it into beautiful, functional pieces. Sustainability is at our core, ensuring our materials are responsibly sourced.
A home renovation in 2014 provided the perfect space for my woodworking workshop. In 2022, I took a leap of faith, leaving my day job to fully dedicate myself to this craft. Our motto is simple: to take a piece of timber and create an item that highlights its natural features, showcasing its inherent beauty.
Thank you for being part of the Murray River Woodworks journey. Your support fuels my passion and drive to create exceptional, handcrafted items. I look forward to sharing my creations with you and that creation being a part of your home for years to come.
